Brand: Wittnauer

Case: 36mm (excluding original signed crown) all stainless steel

Movement: Valjoux cal. 72 manual winding

Bracelet/ Strap: Pattern grey leather, 18mm

Features: Blue'd steel hands, telemetry & tachymeter scale, pump pushers, 12 hour counting chronograph with 30-minute intervals, burned tritium lume, long beveled lugs, screw down case back

Other: Introduced in the early 1960's until later that same decade the Wittauer 235T is a classic chronograph. An open white dial with three registers and tachymeter/ telemetry scales in blue and red ticks all the right boxes. The blue'd steel arrow hands filled with burnt tritium lume reflect incredibly in the right light. If you're looking for a steel chronograph from the perhaps the greatest decade for design and functionality. Don't be turned away by the 36mm case width as the smaller bezel leaves the dial more room to take center stage. One of the best aspects of the 235T is the quality and what sits under the hood. Being Longines US based company, Wittnauer gets many of the fantastic quality pieces that make up the Longines watches from the era. And we all know the incredible pieces that were made from Longines back in the day. Under the hood sits the famous Valjoux cal. 72 with it's reliability and buttery smooth pusher action. The same caliber found in Daytona's that now easily fetch over 100K. Make sure to check out the video below!
