Craig Moore is from Ridgewood, New Jersey and a graduate of Avon Old Farms School where his passion for watches first started. He initially found interest in modern, but quickly realized his love was in chronographs and military inspired watches from the 50's through 70's. He goes to school at Loyola University Maryland in Baltimore and sources the majority of our inventory while also handling most social media aspects. He can be found as @thatwatch_guy on Instagram.
At Thosewatchguys.com, we want to bring you the finest vintage mechanical timepieces... but at a fair price. Our passion is the same as yours. We want to help fill that void in your collection, but not empty your wallet while doing so. We guarantee the watch will be in tip top shape (for a vintage watch of course) but still with the characteristics that makes vintage...vintage.
Samuel Gardiner is from Massachusetts and is currently a student at Connecticut College. He was first introduced into the world of watches by Craig, soon after his own passion and taste for military watches took off. He is our main photographer and the sites technical manager. Sam is always eager to learn more about the art of watch photography, cameras, or anything vintage.
We'll bring you our favorite classic examples like: Gallet, Longines, Omega, Wittnauer, Rolex, Universal, Tudor and some brands you haven't yet heard of but will appreciate as much as us.
We know time only can get boring so we'll try and hunt down that triple date moon-phase, or that one chronograph that you've been dying to get your hands on. Maybe even change it up with a wrist alarm.
We only bring the best of the best at ThoseWatchGuys, so you can count on us for having these little machines oiled and keeping reliable time while maintaining the originality of the pieces. We are all about originality, originality, originality. Having that beautiful patina is all part of what we love.
