Small but mighty. This 1942 Longines Tre-Tacche certainly packs a punch with its beefy steel case, beautifully laid out dial and legendary Longines caliber 12.68Z. The blued steel leaf-style handset really catches the light perfectly at different angles.
Case: 32mm wide (excluding crown), 41mm tall, 10mm thick, all stainless steel, domed mineral crystal, screw-down case back, original unsigned crown
Movement: Longines cal. 12.68Z, manual winding, recently serviced
Bracelet/ Strap: Brown Italian Suede, 16mm lug width
Features: Black Arabic numerals/ baton hour markers, blued steel handset, subsidiary seconds, domed crystal, three (tre) prong screw-down case back, decorated movement, drilled lugs, beefy steel case, circa 1942
Box & Papers: No
Condition: In overall very good original condition. The dial has clear wear to it, something very normal for these models of this era. The blued steel handset are still perfect with no oxidation. The case is unpolished with the original brushed/polished finishing still visible No major scratches or dents, just minor superficial scratches. The movement has been serviced and keeps excellent time when tested.
