1968 Seiko Diver ref. 6105-8009 'Captain Willard'
What We Fancy
The Seiko Diver reference 6105-8009 was made famous after appearing on the wrist of Martin Sheen in the 1979 Francis Ford Coppola film Apocalypse Now. The Seiko 6105 dive watch was popular among U.S. servicemen during the Vietnam War in the early 1970s due to its durability to withstand the rugged environment during the war. This example is very rare as its an earlier radium dial.
