What We Fancy

The earlier Seamaster models are some of my favorite ever released. The thicker case/ lugs make it wear much larger than the size measured indicates. Such a classic design. This example dates to 1956 and has a beautiful stepped evenly patina’d dial and recently serviced caliber 501.

Case: 34mm wide, 40mm tall, 10.5mm thick, all stainless steel, signed crown, domed acrylic crystal, snap-on case back

Movement: Omega cal. 501, automatic, recently serviced, serial 157xxxx ‘56

Bracelet/ Strap: Dark brown suede, 18mm lug width (any strap from our Accessories Shop of your choosing)

Features: Clean evenly patina’d stepped dial, applied pointer/ Arabic hour markers, chubby case, signed crown, snap-on case back, domed acrylic crystal, dauphine handset, applied logo, circa 1956

Box & Papers: No

Condition: In excellent all original condition. The dial has even patina throughout. The case is good with no signs of any overpolishing. There are some smaller scratches in areas that can be seen when inspecting up close. The movement has been recently serviced and keeps excellent time when tested.
