1972 Seiko Navigator GMT ref. 6117-6410
What We Fancy
I’ve always been a fan of this particular model. It offers an awesome colorful aesthetic and a very useful function, the GMT. With a 41mm size case, it fits well for most modern wrists, the 6117 is a workhorse movement as well. It works like this, the inner bezel has red and blue segments that indicate 12 hours of daylight, red, and 12 hours of darkness, blue. The 6117’s independent GMT red time zone hand is used with the inner rotating bezel to tell time in another time zone of the wearer’s choice. A fun piece that is a great size at an affordable price.
