The Explorer II was first released in 1971 with the reference 1655. This third-generation Rolex Explorer II hit the market in 1989 under its new reference 16570. Offered in both a black and the white "polar" dial, the ref. 16570 has quickly become one of the more collectible Rolex models of this era over the past few years. This particular example dates to 2000 with the very sought-after polar white dial.

Condition: In overall excellent all original condition. The dial is very good with no defects of any kind. The matching luminova lume on dial/ handset is all intact and original. The case shows some light wear and signs of very light polishing in the past. The original brushed finish can still be seen. Some scratches on the sides, but nothing major. The movement has been serviced and operates very well when tested on the machine. The bracelet is excellent with a little stretch and can be worn daily. No major scratches or dents.
