In-Depth: anOrdain has quickly become one of our favorite independent microbrands over recent years. Based out of Glasgow, Scotland, the idea for anOrdain came from the founder’s visit to Loch an Ordain in the Scottish Highlands. What makes these very unique compared to other modern watches is the enamel dials in distinct vibrant colors. The special Fumé dial are a result of a mistake that led extensive experimentation and development from their in-house enamellers to achieve a dial with a smoked edge effect. This being an even more special example because of the history. The dial is a prototype & was done on a copper blank instead of a silver blank like all other models at this time. This information comes straight from the owners of anOrdain and this example was purchased at the NYC Wind Up Watch Fair in October 2019. Because of the distinct creation process of the enamel dials, no two anOrdain’s are exactly the same, especially this one of a kind development model.

Condition: This example is in overall incredible original condition & has not seen much use. The only defect are some light superficial scratches on the case back.
